PARKLAND LIBRARY ALTERATIONS
EXISTING LIBRARY
New alterations and 5,200 sq ft of additions to the existing, 30-year old, Parkland Community Library facility on the South Whitehall Township campus in Allentown, PA.
For many years, the Parkland Community Library was in need of expansion, in order to accommodate their growing number of both patrons and programs. This project includes creation of a new Children's Wing and addition of new Program Rooms on the 1st floor, along with a new, and expanded, area for the library staff which will occupy the 2nd floor of the new addition on the north side of the building.
Construction of the project has recently begun, with an anticipated re-opening in early 2021.
