KOLBE RESIDENCE

New 4,800 sq ft custom-designed single-family residence on a wooded lot overlooking a private pond, in Orefield, PA.

This 'new old house' was designed to provide a practical way to realize the owners' dream of buying and reconstructing a vintage Pennsylvania bank-barn and adding to it to create a family home - both the 'barn' and addition are all new construction. The project includes 5 bedrooms, open kitchen/keeping room, and main living and dining areas within the barn.
